    • Generally considered to be a pioneer in the application of complex adaptive systems theory to a range of social issues and in the development of narrative as a research method.
    • His work extends across government and industry in a variety of fields including knowledge management, strategic planning, conflict resolution, weak signal detection, decision support and organisational development.
    • He is a visiting professor at the Universities of Canberra, Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Pretoria and is a visiting fellow at Warwick University, Nanyang University, the Universita' Cattolica in Italy and the Singapore Management College.

        Laszlo Pinter, International Institute for Sustainable Development
        • Director of the Measurement and Assessment Program at IISD.
        • Strongly rooted in systems-thinking and a strategic approach, illustrated by his work on national sustainable development strategies.
        • Often serves as an advisor to various international bodies.
        • Has lead projects on state of the environment and sustainability reporting, sustainable development indicators,
          performance evaluation and integrated assessment in place-based, sectoral or global contexts.
        • Holds a a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota (2002).
